Just set up a new account "kingdazza1234"  - new face lift to the aged website and app itself are under alpha testing currently so will see new lease of life in coming months.   smile

Still a handy app for in-game screenshots, fps counter, media player and joining straight into friends servers.

Actually, scrap above - the company running xfire are a bunch of gits.  Heavy handed moderating on their forum when I pointed out that other clients update games list quicker.  So very slow to update the game support list, even when its blockbuster games releases paired with a rude and pretentious corporate community/team.  I'd seriously avoid.

The client is dying and should be left to rot.  I go into these things so positive and despite my years always still find rude and crap customer service/support shocking.

In short - fuck em.  laugh

I gave Raptr a try a while back but it didn't seem as good.

I think it depends what you want it to do.  I like the stat tracking aspects of Raptr, which are way better than Xfire.  But if its in game stuff then xfire at the mo is stronger.  Either way though Raptr is receiving far better support and devlopment than xfire.

Hmm... stat tracking is all I use Xfire for.  May have to check out Raptr again then.

Well Raptr's tracking fucked up again!  I say again as this is the third account I'm with now and steam games for over a week now have been double tracking time.  They roll stuff out all the time without checking it fully works - I'm convinced they see their user base as beta testers.  So I'm back over to xfire again.  Wish I'd kept my account going over the years, but they had loads of probs with 64bit os's once upon a time....

Failing that I might just fall back on steams stat tracking and say bum cheeks to any other third party apps.

I got an email the other day from Raptr listing games I'd been playing recently.  I was a bit surprised as I didn't have the client installed any more!   blink

Turns out they're just tracking my Steam games as I had linked my account to Raptr.  Phew!

I've stopped using Xfire due to GFWL conflicts and Raptr due to inaccurate tracking, bugs and constantly feeling like a beta tester Sad

I'll just use Steam now mi thinks smile

Steam is pretty good but lots of games I play aren't on it.  Adding a non-Steam game to it doesn't track unfortunately.

Plus I try not to play anything that uses GFWL!  smile
