'An how faust kin it ging?'

« on: August 23, 2007, 09:54:18 PM »

An 11 year old boy was shot in the neck and died while he kicked a ball about in a pub car park yesterday.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/merseyside/6961354.stm

Every time I see his mother on the news I'm sickened.
Personally I'd like to see the culprits stripped, shaved and dragged through the streets naked as an act of public humiliation before getting thrown into a pit of shit to rot for the rest of their days..

(If you are wondering If I have anything constructive to say here, I'm sorry but I'm drawing a complete blank)

Sad I couldnt even contemplate losing one of my children, and reading that story, brought bad butterflies to my stomach.

I didn't comment on this straight away. It seems to be a recurring nightmare for parents where their kids are out and they just aren't safe. I've done the protective bit and I'm letting go a lot now. Things like this sit in the back of your mind though whenever your child is out. Even at school. My daughter's former school has been subjected to 2 severe acid attacks since she left there. It's a bloody nightmare and it doesn't get easier.

I feel so sorry for his mother. She can never understand because there never will be anything to understand.

Yeah.  Sad

The last attack was 20 litres of hydrochloric acid strewn in the Admin office and on the school grounds. The school was closed the following day while HazMat decontaminated the site.

I dont know about butterflies AF. That bought a red faced anger to my eyes.
That is so bad that I really dont know what to say. Those poor parents. I hope they find the culprit and quick.

It's beyond belief.

I disagree.

Society has always had it's problems, law and order has always had it's dissidents, but the respect people have for one another is just gone these days.

This happened is about five minutes drive from were we live and from what we've heard the lad was o.k, doing well at school and into footie in a big way, a nice kid. The hype on T.V. about people not coming forward is all wrong the fact is know one knows who they were or were they came from as they aren't local.
The sad thing is the estate is now full of sightseers driving round to see were it happened....Sad bastards.

Poor wee guy. My heart goes out to his family.

It's sickening, every other day some kid is getting shot or stabbed, used to be mostly London, now it's newcastle, soon be the norm.

I fear for my kid, i really do. He's nearly Two, i wish he could stay that age forever, Innocent and gives everybody he meets a kiss and cuddle.

Eyes are welling up here.
