 Stuff like meddle, wish you were here, dark side of the moon, animals and the wall are probably the finest they did. There's enough variety in that lot to keep you going for at least three years..  (Final Cut probably won't strike a chord with you though..)

He was a bit of an arse later on I've heard..but I'm of the same opinion, he played his part in defining them in the same way Syd Barratt did at the other end.  |

Awww, c'mon maaaaaan..Delicate Sound Of Thunder just showed Floyd were great without him and exposed that Waters was a middle class jumped up prick with egomania. I saw them live minus Waters and they blew me away. Waters sound was influenced again by Alan Parsons so he wasn't that unique anyway and check out all the best celebrated tracks Floyd did, Waters and Gilmour are the names, not just waters.
