It's called Barr's Irn-Bru....  and it cures a hang over like nothing else on the planet. I've just drank about a litre of, lovely, cold Irn-Bru.  Just wondering if any of our American, Australian or New Zealanders have tried it. |

I use Lucozade as my hangover cure (another reason is my hangovers are normally on a Sunday and I play footy from 10:30am)

It's not available here. We have pills you take when you drink that will prevent a hangover, but you have to meter them out and take them as you drink more. They work, but it's a pain to remember under the influence.

My cure for hangover? Puke on bed covers at midnight. Get up try not to wake parents. No hope of salvaging the duvet (well I wasn't picking through that to get it out) Put it in a black bin bag. Go back to bed with no covers. Instead put on t-shirt. Freezing night, get up every hour to be sick. Drink too much water in the morning. Sick again. Try to stop nephew from climbing on my stomach!  Sleep in parents bed until dinner time when I can at least eat something. Go back to bed. Call in sick for work on Monday. This did all happen btw, except I didn't call in sick. Wish I did, was a waste of a weekend  I swore I'd never drink again. At least not that much. Trying to keep up with older folks and drink shots with the younger ones.  |
