The kids wanted a sausage supper from the chip shop tonight but I decided I would buy some oil and make a battered sausage myself.

First deep fried food I've made in a few years tbh and it was crap.

Poor kids, next time I won't be so stingey and just buy them their chip shop supper.

If you're gonna deep fry something it should be healthy on the inside.  Fried green tomatoes, fried okra, fried squash YUMMY!  Now I'm hungry.

One arsehole Chip Shop owner in Fife did it as a publicity stunt, and tarnished our 'unblemished' national health record forever. dry tongue2
