Some updates could change the way the card is identified by the BIOS though.

Fancy going balls out for a Video BIOS flash?

I had a similar problem with my graphics card
Except on boot up it came up with weird matrix style symbols all over the screen
Turns out the memory on the card had failed Sad
I was worried it was my motherboard also but put it in another pc and same problem so it was def the card

Find someone who has a decent pc and use it in theres to see what happens and if the problem is still there

Watch it carefully!
Mine would behave fine for a while, go matrix again, fine, matrix... etc.
Then one day it gave up even opening msn and firefox

by the way did you know that the "snow" on a TV is leftover background radiation from the big bang?)

Sorta, a very small percentage of the snow from a TV is background radiation from the big bang smile

it's done it again. fucking shitballs

It plays games perfectly, but just dies randomly (never when playing funnily enough) it always happens when i'm not there. PC has just been on for a few days straight and no problems.

I can't figure it out. mad

New card ftw.
