I lost my job... I hate this shite! I haven't actually looked for a job in over 10 years. I always had the next one lined up before I bailed the old. Now, I have to actually make up a CV. Huh? One good thing, I actually applied for unemployment over the net.

IDEA Therm.

You could persuade Mc Donalds to buy RVs and trade on the street corners. You could be fleet manager.  yay

If you strike it rich and they take you up, i want a cut.  laugh

Ahh shit mate, bad feckin news!  blink

Life hits you another boot in the balls..you deserve better.

Tbh I was a bit worried about that happening...the leisure market is fucked all over. confused
Any chance of you going through your past order book and making some phone calls to people, telling them the score, and offering to do some RV work cash in hand?
(Some of them might jump at the chance to take you up on it instead of paying through the nose at a workshop)

Might work as long as I didn't have to eat their food. Alky There isn't anything to get their food taste out of your mouth. Wink

Yeah, I do have some side work, but not enough. 'Sides, I already tried that right when this economy started to go to shit. Didn't work out so good. Cat's pushin' me get into another field(in particular, IT) that won't be so physically demanding on me. Only prob is, I ain't got a lick of an idea what IT is. I guess I could bang out my A+ quick enough, but it would take me a while to get anything else of value done. I don't know, maybe it's my sore nads talking and I'll just jump off and do it. It's kinda rough leaving a good paying vocation unless you know your going in to something much better and I don't know if IT is it right now.

Desktop support or office based break fix might suit you..not so much travelling around.

We're IT contractors, so there's quite a lot of travelling to customers premises involved.
The good thing/bad thing about it is that every day is a bit different.
With most kit these days, if you can get it back on the network, someone can dial in and sort out the software side of it remotely, so the majority of the break/fix work I do is identifying where the break in the network is. It isn't really that difficult.

The wireless stuff is a is more involved.
