Each to his own.
The Verdict with Paul Newman.
One of my all time top ten.

I actually never cared for close encounters :O

I watched The Girl with The Dragon Tattoo the other day, the Swedish one. I liked it. Couple of bits that are bit vile though.

yeah there was a few bits that really didnt have to be in it, if they were cut out you still wouldnt loose anything from the plot.

I could argue it showed her character with how she dealt with the whole sponsor subplot. Interestingly I felt no sorrow for him, I did for her... But imo they could have toned it down a little, the scenes themself are fairly vile...

Attack the Block...

Can see some people wouldn't like it. The heroes really are quite horrid, but it's actually quite a good film that said. Basic... but decent.

Seems to have slipped by under the radar too.

I take it you've seen Taken. I heard Unknown was good, but Taken is UNREAL.

Neeson's movies are pretty solid, he's getting a bit stereotyped but he doesn't pick many plugs.  smile

War Horse.

Tbh I found it a little dull. Was really looking forward to it as well, having read the book and seen it at the theatre.

Theatre version;

Film trailer;

Still, although I found it slightly long toothed it is a great story - 6.5/10

Tucker and Dale vs Evil

Well worth a watch IMO its a slasher/comedy that takes the piss out of the usual cliches that involve college kids camping in scary woods where a murder happened 20 years ago. With a couple of laugh out loud moments.

I also watched Final Destination 5 but its the same film as the last 4 and obviously made to be watched in 3D. Nothing new to this series but its always good to see some inventive ways that the writers think up to off the survivors. Word of warning dont watch if you are interested in getting laser eye surgery.
