I watched The Fourth Kind yesterday. I have to say its a very gripping movie, Avatar etc are all amazing for the visual affects but lack a good story. Fourth kind is the opposite, barely any visual affects but brilliant story. Ive started watching 1960's movies recently and stuff like that cause Im starting to think that all the new movies out these days just lack any story.

See 2012?

It's actually not a bad laugh. tongue2
There's no way it takes itself that seriously at all and I think a lot of critics have gotten the wrong end of the stick about it.

It reminds me of Armageddon (or that other clone of it that was out at the same time) when Keasy and Tricky were knotted laughing at the wee guy reading a newspaper (oblivious to what was going on behind him) as a Tsunami approached and blasted him to smithereens. tongue2

The Day of The Jackal on friday night.
No special effects, just a damned good story.

Defiance with Daniel Craig, based on the true story of 3 brothers during the war.  Held me captive from start to finish.

Amadeus last night, rigged up to the stereo system.
Heck of a film, but stretches the Salieri effect a little.

Watched The taking of Pelham123. Thought it was just as good as the original. Fast paced, and John Travolta makes a pretty convincing baddie.

The time travelers wife - Movie lacked a point, kinda like being told the middle of a story

2012 - I enjoyed watching the earth get destroyed...December 2012 I'll make sure to make popcorn for the real event  laugh

Gamer - Stopped the movie to post this and get some food so far it is suspiciously similar to Death Race

Blazing Saddles...............eat more beans!

Hilarious movie but shhhhh don't mention beans, you will set Keasy off again Wink.

I fancy both The Time Traveller's Wife and 2012 Niv.

Watched Mercury Rising with Bruce Willis and Midnight Run with Robert De Niro over the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed both.

Watched Alice In Wonderland on Sunday. The 3D effects are weird, the story is poor. I wouldn't reccommend it.

Avatar was 100 times better and had a story.

JG if you want avatar i'll send it up.
