Watched Alice In Wonderland on Sunday. The 3D effects are weird, the story is poor. I wouldn't reccommend it.

Avatar was 100 times better and had a story.

JG if you want avatar i'll send it up.

Thank you my sweet that would be greatly appreciated Wink

Saw the Terminal and Disturbia last weekend.  Both recommendable films!  Was amazed that the Terminal wasnt some drap story, well basically it was but I was realy touched by the overall simple feel good story.  Old sentimental me perhaps?

The hurt locker.....Watchable but if your looking for a good war movie this is not it. Disappointed to be honest after the hype.

3/10.

Hurt Locker

Didn't realize it was going to be a minute for minute documentary of the war  laugh 2 1/2 hours was a bit much and gave up after 2hrs

Hype was over done and I failed to see where/why it won all the awards

Pearls before swine is what that is.. smile
It's one of the best movies I'd seen in the last year. (I saw it before I'd read any hype though)

Sherlock Holmes is pretty good. Cool

I really enjoyed this film and would comfortably give it a 8/10. Got really drawn into it. Very poignant.

Incidentally, The Pacific started last night (10 part series) from the makers on Band Of Brothers...I will be making sure I see it one way or another  Cool

Changeling with Angelina Jolie.  Wasn't too sure at the beginning but ended up thoroughly engrossed in it.  Worth a watch.

From Paris With Love - really enjoyed this movie, John Travolta's character is nuts.

Invictus, an unusual subjetc for Clint Eastwood but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

2012 utter rubbish apart from the effects.

Withnail and I. What can i say? Fascinating.
