2012 utter rubbish apart from the effects.
+1 Ignore the following Julie and Julia It's Complicated The Ugly Truth Creation All tedious in the extreme - needless to say other people have been chosing the films on film night!

Harry Brown. +++++ Much more hard hitting and brutal than we expected. Adriana had to put her hands in front of her face at times Michael Caine as brilliant as ever.

In the loop A fast paced British political satire which at times is hilarious and it's central character (PM's dir of comms) makes Alastair Campbell look like a poodle. Never a dull moment.

Reservoir Dogs today. I wasn't too keen on the part with the cop and his ear, especially as we were about to have dinner

I didn't watch Reservoir Dogs for years after it was released because it was hyped up so much. Have to admit I thoroughly enjoyed it when I did. Michael Madsen doing his thing to Stuck In The Middle is a memorable scene....ouch!!

I've not long finished reading Russia's War and have been promised Stalingrad to read as well and Rebecca currently has me reading some vampire book but yip, would love to read OFOTCN

My mate and I took her kid and Rebecca to see the Twilight/New Moon double bill at the cinema followed by a special preview screening of the third film in the series, Eclipse. Eclipse has a different director again and was thoroughly enjoyable. They were showing Eclipse in all 9 halls and all but one had sold out completely. According to the manager there were over 1400 people there which is a scale they have never had to cope with before. The sore asses we are all complaining about right now though aren't so enjoyable

Went to see Inception last night.
Absolute pile of utter contrived shite.
Smattie got up to the toilet half way through and said to me " I'm going to the loo, if you want to meet me outside the loo we could just leave". So I got up and left.

I was talking to HC last night and she had heard a review that said it was a very intelligent movie and that you really have to pay attention to get it. I wonder if the reviewer was making fun of you Keasy?

Keasy and Smattie were probably too busy snogging in the back row to watch the film Therm and by the time they did couldn't work out the plot :runfromspider:
