When I was young my dad would speak in Belgique to me and I started to learn and write also, but it all faded away....

How did your dad end up in Australia?  Must've been quite an endavour in those day's to take such an enormous trip!

After the Korean war, he left the army and joined the merchant navy, travelled the world, and met mum who had already migrated to Australia many years earlier, and fell in love, signed off the ship and decided to stay, the rest is history...
