Yip, I went to the cinema to see it and have tickets booked to see New Moon next month.  Trust me it ain't a guys film, don't go there laugh.  Forget Romeo and Juliet, Edward (sigh) and Bella are wayyyyy more romantic.  He is the vampire, she the mortal, the attraction on his part is so strong that he is fighting against himself when he first meets her to keep from killing her as her blood is more attractive to him than any human he has ever met.  Bella ends up in danger from blood sucking vamps (Edward's family hunt animals, not humans) and Edward and his family have to try to protect her.

The books are amazing, the Twilight film less so but basically because there wasn't time to get into all the detail from the book which is always the case.  New Moon has a different director so hopefully will be better, going by the trailers its looking good.  Only problem for me is that our tickets are booked for during the day so am hoping I don't come out red eyed - the book killed me Sad

I watched it but I thought it was crap.  My girls liked it.  It's a very teenage/pre-teen sorta plot.  Kinda like HS Musical with Vampires and no singing basketball players.  It wasn't a total waste of time, but don't go in thinking you're gonna be wowed because of all the hype.

The Twilight movie definitely didn't capture the essence of the book, they could have done so much more with it.  I think it's Eclipse thats being filmed now (or has just finished filming) and its a different director yet again.  I will stand by the books and say they are terrific, even my mate who was dubious about reading them is now totally hooked on them.

Twilight parody to the tune of Bon Jovi's Wanted (Dead Or Alive)
I'm soz I had to post this, I found this a few days and Rebecca is still cracking up at me for showing her it, she doesn't find it in the least amusing.
