Just been watchin some ZZ on blu ray and it must have been shot on imax somethin damn close because its the clearest slice of visuals I've evr seen.  Superb.  Tunes weren't bad either  Wink  Swear to the Lord it sounded like an engine of a beefy straight 4 with twin plugs rolling down the road.  Dripping in southern style:

ZZ Top - What it is, kid (2003).wmv

An aquired taste for sure  Cool

KD, I grew up with ZZ Top. My father was a Texas Musician and he used to pick(get together and play for the hell of it) with them. I met so many musicians as a kid from Texas that it's pretty wild to see how some of them turned out. For example, he opened up for Willie Nelson at Floores Country Store when I was a child. To this day Floores is still a legendary place for musicians to play.

Superb Thermalsig.  There I was thinkin my thread and I was banished to another land  laugh

Damn cool stuff.  The ZZ blu ray is a must for you man.  Its so clear that you can reach out an touch the guitars.  Its so crystal clear I was thinkin, theres no need to go to a gig in some ways as it is so real.  Its a moment of finesse I've never witnessed till now  Cool

Anyway heres an ole slice of some shit I like:

George Thorogood And The Destroyers - Nobody But Me
Get your ears around some of this man, ace tone of tune  Cool
Fearless Boogie - ZZ Top

I'm just back from Elvis In Concert at the SECC and I have to say it was a great night out happy.  Took pity on my dad and went to keep him company along with Yvonne my mate and Rebecca.  Have to be fair and say if thats what the man was like on a screen then it must have been an awesome experience to see him live, plus I came home with an Elvis teddy bear blush
