I had tickets to see them years ago and was ill and couldn't go. I was supposed to see them supporting Bryan Adams a couple of years later and my asshole ex arsed around so much that I only saw the final 3 songs of their set. They sounded absolutely fantastic which pissed me off even more with him . Once an arsehole, always an arsehole!!

I was never a huge fan at the time - i think they were just another band at Donnigton, but fuck me do they sound good tonight Neither was I tbh. I think the first tour was around the time More Than Words came out and Pam and I were right into that and Get The Funk Out. I remember her saying it was all schoolkids that were there, she was mortified, lol. She should go gigging with me now . Actually we are going to see Green Day in June . Did you see Airbourne are touring over here? Saw these guys back in '89 - they were supporting Bon Jovi over here. Dan Reed must have had JBJ shitting blood, they were amazing live. Dan Reed Network - Make It Easy [1989]Dan Reed Network - Tiger In A Dress [1989]Dan Reed Network - Rainbow Child live

Not sure about seein Airbourne as I'd be going on my todd knowing my bunch of sound, but unreliable as buggery mates. Anyway I like my parties local these days - they're a bit legendary .... I'm happy spinning the tunes rather than having to go and see em anyway. Maybe someday eh? Hey, back soon, pubs a callin... Back On The Bottle by Airbourne
