Just thoughts been running through my head over the past couple of weeks. The number of Immigrants is rising by the second and they can claim money the minute they "walk in the door". The laws which are enforced. (If an intruder comes into your home, you cannot harm him and are expected to cook him a nice meal rather than knock his lights out) Political correctness through the roof. Unemployment rate. No jobs being made available. Schools being closed. Tax fluctuations. The list could go on for days. It's getting to a point where living here is starting to get on my tits frankly.  |

It's getting to a point where living here is starting to get on my tits frankly. Baws. Asylum seekers are the only immigrants issued with a National Insurance number when they take up abode in The U.K. they count for less than 1% of the influx. Most of rest are financial immigrants and are not entitled to claim benefits as soon as they step on British shores. It's all newspaper tabloid headlining to sell papers and provoke reaction to further boast future sales with like minded appalling reportage. |

But our country is quickly becoming a safe haven for asylum seekers. We are far, far too soft. Try to get into Russia or China in a crate and you will be shot on sight.
Why are we tailoring to the needs of people who wish to seek refuge here, rather than the people who have fought wars and lived in this country all of their lives?

Do you read the Daily Fail by any chance? The news always focuses on the worst cases just cause that's what people like to talk about and get angry about. Sure some things could be done better but if there is stuff to go on about its not about the jobless, you can't blame the Government for some wanker bankers in America and London fecking about. What the Government can be blamed for is what feels like the constant erosion of civil rights, privacy and their constant taxing of anything they can think of.

Er, of course it's a safe haven if you're an asylum seeker. That's why as a civilised country we offer asylum to those who face persecution in their native lands. Russia or China as a destination for asylum seekers ? And AFAIK successful applications for asylum are dropping, not increasing. Plus they live in detention centres until processed anyway, they're not exactly out on civy street bleeding the countries coffers. |
