I've been replaying Far Cry for the sheer fun of it.
How does FC2 rate against it? The screenshots look impressive and I'm looking forward to trying it on my new rig in March.
I might also go for TRUnderworld as I'm a big Lara fan and finally get Crysis to run at a decent res.

Havent tried it myself splint. It looks mighty fine tho and as long as it doesnt have extensive zombie sh1t like the first instalment it can't be bad. The burning effect looks nice too!

Sorry but I hated FarCry2. Hard to explain as to why exactly but it just didn't flow and played too much like a RPG than a FPS.
Just not my cup of tea.
It did get raving reviews from most though but just not as good as the original imho.

I've just started FC2 and after about 3 hours play, I've shot about 3 people.
What a let down! All choclatey brown, you have to drive a fucking Datsun for hours to get anywhere and it's full of cutscenes.
The key mapping is hopeless and I can only conclude that its a console port.

Maybe I was being a bit hasty.
It took forever to get through the 'training' level and now the shooting has started.
It's still a bit rts/point and click though.

There's only so much setting fire to grass you can do before the novelty ware's off. It would maybe be better if we had smello-vision, ahhhh the smell of burning fields in the summer  |
