Hi all,

Wondering if anyone can help me with a work related request?

Some of you may know I work in large format print (www.prismalfex.com). One of our major clients wants me to look into a more secure way of utilising our FTP system for the uploading of artworks etc.
The points that must be addressed are as follows;
1) A client can only write to our ftp
2) Once the client submits the file for uploading they need to supply their email address, details of artwork, contact number. Also a pop-up needs to appear stating some legal jargon - this must be clear and in their face!
3) Once the file is fully uploaded the client is sent an email stating upload successful. Myself and 3 others are also sent an email saying what the file is and who it is from (from the details comepleted from point 2).

Any ideas guys?!?

Thanks!!!  notworthy

1 and 3 are pretty bog standard things you can get in most ftp server software.

For 2 i reckon you would probably need some bespoke solution. For that user interaction form filling type behaviour, a web front end would probably be your best option.

I'm in no way experienced with coding web pages but i'm pretty sure it would be pretty easy to build that function into your existing company website.
