cheers, yeah I seen a short video of some tog playing it, and there was one bloke on there (British accent) and he was telling/yelling at his own team to shut the fcuk up, and calling them all cu*ts, and I thought I'd last 5 min. before I hunted the prick down and tore his heart from his chest...kinda turned me off actually.. |

Personaly I stay away from this media for some time cause I'm put off with it. Too much effort, too little reward. |

Well I just knicked off and played half an hour of bf42, I also play bf2 sometimes, enjoy the depth (no pun intended) of Silent Hunter 3, CoD, CoD2, Desert Combat, I used to play AOE online (competition), but stopped when 3 came out, I was so dissapointed with it, I wrote a nasty email to the company..hahaha..I also used to play Rainbow6 (competition), MS combat flight sim over Europe (competition), Brothers in Arms (earned in blood, road to hill 30), MoH, MoHP, Empire Earth. Looking for something that makes you think.. |

I didn't mind it but I didnt stick with it for too long - but do download the trial. The tutorial run is easy and gives you a solid start and after the tut it easy to play.
Join the TOG channel if you wish - it's not very active (Aus time anyway) but there's usually 1 or 2 and help/advice or just good yarning is very close.
The 9pm-10pm AEST server downtime was a major bummer for me and with my current WOW addiction, I dropped it. But I do recommend getting the trial (it's free and unlike some bloody trial software, it uninstalls completely if you're done with it)

tbh, eve isn't even in the same league as wow for mmo.
good luck in catching anyone playing longer than you... it's physically impossible.

ssssh! bad monkee! Eve is very fun if you have the time and get into the right corp The trial last for 14 days and is free so it cant hurt to try it out  I must have been very fortunate to find a corp that hasn't got any wierdo's in it and are very rich and give me money when I give a good enough reason  I've not really given it my fullest attention cause of one thing and the next but considering how much I've been offline I think I have a pretty decent ship. Also note that people are leaving WoW in their thousands whilst Eve is continuing to grow |
