Sorry to hear he's getting worse... Sad
I've had both the stomach tube and the one up the nose, the stomach one you have a small op to get it in & it can be a bit of a pain as it is always in the way especially while you try to sleep..
The nose one can be put in while you lay in bed without being put under & is over in about 5 minutes this to can get in the way also but IMO is far better then the other....The food they give you is a thick liquid that takes about 8 hours to pump in to you stomach which I did while gaming but you can do it over night...

Please ignore me if the doctors have already explained all this to you....

Dad is very clear that he doesn't want either of these options,everything has been explained to him many times over and they have now decided that since he clearly understands the risk to not bring it up again.
I am just taking it day by day,go and visit him at the weekends and try and keep him cheerful,its all we can do really.
