I'm the same.
Fair do's if you are right into your gaming, but I'm not that fussed enough to fork out good gelt on a top of the line card..

lasts alot longer though.
got 3 years out of both my last cards.
couldn't say that if i bought a 6600gt, mx460 instead of my 6800gt (ok, that was a ritzy one back then, £300) and ti4200 (£175)

It's relative though..
You can't apply your standards to the cards we buy and
vice versa
since we expect different things from them.
So we get exactly the same amount of use out of a £150 card as you do out of a £300 card...

Quite pleasantly surprised by the 3d mark06 score.
I went from 2033 with the x850xt to 4500 with the 8600gts

That's a decent bump in score. If you don't play too often, that should be a fine upgrade.
