Winter is coming!

Scissor Sisters new album is due for release tomorrow. Being the 28th of June 2010.

Preliminary hearings suggest it's an absolute feckin belter.

Unfortunately the album is the poofiest album cover I've ever seen. Many a straight man would be off put the actual physical act of purchasing the CD/Album from a traditional record store.
However, it's worth putting the Scissor sisters strange sexual obsessions aside for the pleasure of listening to their new album.

This is pop at its best. Regardless of peoples normal genre tastes, this album has got have at least one track that everyone will enjoy.

Often a third album is refered to as 'the difficult third' well, the Scissor sisters have produced a corker!

Here's a taste....

I can dig it  Cool Always liked there over the top falsetto style smile  This is a bit getting used to it though, vocals make me think of Pink Floyd a bit smile  Weird sensation.  Track is a bit to long though to captivate me through out the whole song ... bit too housy instead of disco.

Here's a dutch artist I would recommend also. http://www.myspace.com/annekevangiersbergen

Here's a great dutch band.

I first heard this album at a Hi-Fi Show in Manchester, played through an excellent top notch valve system.

It was so good i imported the album.

It may not be to everyones tastes, but the recording quality of this album is top banana.
(not on you tube of course and your desktop speakers)    tongue2

Another top notch album and recording. Album cover displayed on You Tube.

This was just a chance meeting and a jam, recorded with Acoustic Reaserch valve microphones.
(the Yanks here, should know how good A.R. gear is) smile

Good chillout album. Wink
