I did not say anything derogatory.  I simply asked C if that was what HE was implying.

I have nothing to run away from - infact if I recall correctly I placed my order for chorizo instead of bacon.

I have never heard anything from Thermal except praise for HC's cooking so far be it from me to comment.

And what would you cook me for breakfast?

Did no-one ever tell you Vasco to expect nothing and that way you can't be disappointed?  tongue2

No porridge in the house and I hate fried bread (yuck), the rest I could manage Wink.  On a positive note,  the hospital is only 5 minutes away.  Stomach pumping isn't too painful is it?  innocent  laugh

Actually I can't stand fried bread either and I prefer my eggs poached. Have to watch the cholestrol levels.  Porridge is a staple though especially with brown sugar and fullcream milk. mmmmm mmmmmm

My stomach is made of iron.  I had samonella poisoning as a youngster and as a result of surviving that I have a very strong stomach.  When others get food poisoning that has them throwing up etc all I get is a stomach ache.

I don't know what tutu meant.  Maybe that I looked so good while cooking that I would give you a heart attack.   scratchhead
What I meant though, was with all that fatty greasy food you might block and artery.  So, I wanted to set your mind at ease and let you know that I can save your life.  laugh

The anniversary party was a big hit.  The preparation was murder.  It was so hot, and I wasn't kidding when I said there was a lot of mowing and pulling of sorghum to do.  My girls and I mowed and pulled weeds on Thursday, Therm & I and the girls and our son went back on Friday and then Therm had to finish up on Saturday morning.  All in all it was a very nice party.  The place looked wonderful (thanks Therm).  The food was wonderful and the company was fabulous.  I even saw a cousin I hadn't seen in 13 years.  I met a lot of mom & dad's friends and just really really enjoyed myself.  My eldest daughter made a DVD with over 300 pics from over the years and it played during the entire party.  Other than the heat everything was perfect.  Next time I plan a party I'll make sure that I'm in charge of the weather.  biggrin

Just to be self indulgent I've listed the menu - yes I made almost everything  smile

beef brisket
sausage
pinto beans w/ham hocks
creamed corn
coleslaw
cherry pie
apple pie
apple bread
punch
salsa
German chocolate cake - bought & absolutely the most wonderful cake I've ever had
sides were bought - pickled onions, dill pickles, jalapenos, hot sauce, bread, bbq sauce

So I slept almost all day.  Watched a House marathon and then slept some more.  Now, guess what?  I can't sleep.  I just made a movie with xtranormal, but I'm not willing to pay $10 to get enough points to be able to publish it.

Not without the smoker you don't. Almost there, but you want the smoker that would hang off the right side. Wink
