Maybe I will get an answer on this Q as my last one wasn't answered, ever, by anyone  Tongue

I'm a bit worried about the amounts of Teredo instances running through my PC/Router.

It's a tunneling service for ip 4 to 6 basically.

But wtf is using it, is it normal ? Does anyone else have as many instances running through their router ?

I leave UPnP off by default since it's a security vulnerability.

I don;t worry as much as the software firewall is running.

It's a windows service as it turns out and I just disabled it cmd.

That'll be the software firewall that didn't crack a light that it was open?  tongue2

Yes, because it's windows service and doesn't request permissions in windows firewall   tongue2

Ahh, that explains it.
I don't use Windows Firewall either, it has a habit of blocking the stuff I really need and letting through the shit it thinks I need.  confused
(Bear in mind I'm using this PC for access and remote scripting of network switches, among other things. The last thing I need is for it to arbitrarily block the process and bugger up the config on a site 300 miles away.  Wink)

That's why we (the engineers) use local accounts on the company laptops and tell the helpdesk/admin to keep their hands well off them.  Wink

(ICS/Windows Firewall blocks most of the ports we need to use)
