Does anyone have a clue on any faster free cd ripping software that is faster than THIS. I have about 200 cds left to do and I am losing the will to live.

The express rip is good but the ID3 tags/file naming options are a bit limited. I really am just lazy and want a program that will do it for me including putting the cd in the drive as well

The last ripper I used was CDex
http://cdexos.sourceforge.net/
I take it it still does what it says on the tin.

Then again, there's always Mediamonkey http://download.cnet.com/MediaMonkey-Standard/3000-2141_4-10109807.html , which probably has everything you could ever need, including ID3 tagging from the net (iirc CDex does that as well).

Got it sorted its creating file names off the tagging thats the problem, mixed albums keep giving the artist of the file name as Various - Artist - track, I was only wanting Artist - Track  as the file name ( I may be a little picky) but all the rippers seem to tag in the first way.

Found a prog called tag and rename that sorts out my little niggles. Cause sod doing it all manually

Lamasoft's Winamp used to be good at doing the lot.

Don't know if it still is and you need the full version.

I'm not a techno geek but I just bought this

http://www.roxio.com/enu/products/easy-burning/standard/overview.html?gclid=CMDH15mjq6MCFQpknAodkXxg6g

to make a DVD slide show for my Mom & Dad's party.  It was really easy to use and it was fast.  I don't know if the CD part of the software works as well, or if it does what you are looking for it to do.  But, maybe you can check out the info.
