I assume you are talking 64 bit? At work we use both Vista/7-32/64 bit and I can really only tell the difference when multiple resource hungry programs are open. I personally use 32 bit on my gaming rig with 4GBs, such as it now days, and I never see really see full ram usage unless I'm loading a big map and then only a brief spike. I know my daughter uses some ram hungry digital art software that could probably see some benefit.

My next upgrade will probably be another 4GB, but 4 seems to be ok so far.

I just bought a 64GB SSD (it was a bargain) for my OS (Win 7 x64), Photoshop and a few other apps.

I could do with one of those to give me a back rub..
...and do the dishes.

Honestly...there's a huge pile of the damn things.  tongue2

One of these might do the job though.

Yeah, but what sucks is I'm not a morning person.  laugh
I don't know what the fascination is with with man toys lately.  You can have all the man toys you want and there's two incomes to help pay for them.  idk, that sounds like a pretty good deal to me.   smile  Olive you.  That'll make sense later.   lips

64 bit. Depends if I've got some spare cash.
Mobo is GA770tUSB3 and will support 16Gb, just for the record.
Flies along!

I don't notice a vast difference with this SSD either.
I always put the PC into Sleep Mode, so it wasn't like Windows was slow to load anyway.

Photoshop works a wee bit better, but again, nothing to write home about.

Btw, while I was farting around with Photoshop I created this.

The only thing that i really noticed when i last upgraded was that my downloads from newsgroups sped up by about 500kb/s. Runnings games and general movie watching was just the same to me anyway.

Crucial C300?

It's a fantastiché drive. I luffles it.

I had 6gb in my old PC, but since my upgrade I'm down to 4gb for the time being. Like Woosty I was thinking of popping another 4gb in. Not that I really need it mind, I'm just am too single for my own good...

I really could do with selling off the old PC bits to be honest though
