Are you sure? To me sitting on the fence implies the equal possibility of the existence of God and non-existence of God, when the evidence of non-existence far outweighs the (lack of) evidence for the existence. |

Not fully knowing if you believe in a god or gods or if you don't believe is not necessarily fence sitting. There is plenty of room for people not making their minds up. Agnostic is as wide a view as there are religious movements and faiths. Evidentially there is to many peoples minds equal proof of the existence of god as there is non existence proof to many too. I'm quite sure splinter is 'sure' of his mind set. I am not atheist. |

I'm quite sure splinter is 'sure' of his mind set. To put it another way, we are pretty much all agnostic to the existence of fairies because it can't be proved either way, but really we are Atheists because the lack of evidence is hugely swayed to their non-existence. |
