It started out OK and I sold a fair bit in the shop, but went downhill quite rapidly when Adriana went to get the car and came back to say it wasn't there.
My first thought was that it had been nicked as it was on the street. We then phoned the local council, who told us it had been towed away. We weren't happy bunnies as these blokes are voracious and I've had a few run ins with them before.
Marched over to collect the car with our best battle faces on and I have to say that I've never seen her so furious and decided to let her deal with it since she was ready for blood. I then overheard that the garage parking blokes had reported the car as obstructing their entrance and these are the same guys who we know well and pay to park our car there sometimes, so we were banged to rights really.
We paid the fine, I sent Adri home and went for a chat with the blokes at the garage, knowing that Adri had popped in there earlier to see if they knew anything about the car, which of course they didn't.
Knowing that the guy had been lying through his teeth, I asked him who called the tow truck several times and finally got an admission that indeed it was him.
Bearing in mind all that has happened recently and being lied to by a scroat, I completely lost it, went into his hut and clocked him hard.
I'm not proud of that at all, but I'm tired of being fucked over and getting no justice.

For what it's worth Splint, I probably would of done the same thing. I never feel proud of myself after something like that, but I must admit to feeling a little bit of satisfaction on occasion.

It's been a few years since I've done anything remotely like that and I have to say that I don't regret it one bit. Unfortunately he was in the wrong place etc etc.
Upshot is that his boss came round to see me today as expected and he is a decent bloke, not aggressive at all and simply asked me to go round and make the peace with his employee as he was shitting himself and his Dad wanted to press charges.
I made the peace in a manner of speaking.
