Meet the GTS 450. Looks like a good card and it's forcing prices down. It tops the 5770 for a few dollars less. What surprises me in these benches is how the 5770 in CF puts the smack down. You can get 5870 performance for a very large chunk of change less by dropping these in crossfire. The 450 doesn't do as well, but I'm thinking driers may change that. Over all, almost all mainstream cards have dropped 20$ to 30$ overnight. I love competition.  smile

Poor old nvidia, just as they are getting into the game ATi are about to drop the 6 series... apparently 30% increase.

HAha, you would think so. nVid isn't as dumb as dumb or as late as some would think.  Wink The future will tell.

They did just admit designing a chip that was impossible due to the laws of physics, you know!

Fermi might compete a bit, but they need to die shrink it, and bump the yields massively!

Don't get me wrong, I've bought a lot of nvidia cards so I like seeing them compete, it's just there was some pooch screwing with their last release.

Like AMD sitting on the Athlon 64 for 3 years, and then having Intel school them with the Core 2 Duo.
