Copying or importing my list of contacts to my new company supplied Nokia 6320i piece of crap just isn't happening.
With my Samsung I can import the lot from a .csv but the Nokia refuses to import naything unless it's right out of my Outlook folder..all 492 fucking entries..
What an utter piece of shit.

I'll give it credit though.... I threw it at the wall and it bounced off, out the door, smacked off another door frame and skidded into the kitchen and there's hardly a mark on the thing.
Turns out I had to select all the contacts I wanted from the Outlook address book and send them via Bluetooth to the phone. To add insult to injury, the phone required confirmation for each and every one even when it was set to accept all data from the (trusted) laptop.
Life's too short for that type of shit!

I watched my boss who was **trying** to work on a blueprint in the office (9 interruptions in 20 min) stand up very calmly and like an old west gunfighter do a quick draw on his cell phone and slam it to the ground, It bounced off the floor, off a wall and flew directly at me where I snatched it out of the air as he was storming out of the office into the shop. The only damage was a hairline crack in the case and a missing button which I found on the floor and reattached. - The phone worked perfectly. After this outburst it was then I decided that I would never have a gun duel with the man as the speed of his quick draw is like lightning

I can see my project manager doing the same shortly, his phone never stops.. Maybe I should start a 'When Technology Goes Bad' thread.

When you connect to the wireless router you are only connected to the other devices in your home if you have any (Wireless LAN). If that router incorporates a modem though, it will create a connection from your wireless LAN to the internet, if not then there will have to be some other means of connecting the WLAN to the internet and that normally involves either connecting an ADSL/Cable router to one of the ethernet ports on the back of the wireless router, or using another computer to which the ADSL/Cable router is attached as an internet gateway (Internet Connection Sharing)

I know....would you like his phone number so you can ***TRY*** to explain it to him? hehehe I'm beginning to think he thinks the Internet is a program on his computer. - He had me go through every computer he even looks at and set the start pages to the same default...so they all had the same program on them He's 65....I'm not saying you can't teach an old dog new tricks but I may need to use a cattle prod with him.

That's it's primary function.. It's a well known fact that the first image transferred over teh intorweb was a childish 'tits and fanny' picture made up entirely of ASCII characters. The return image from CAL Tech was an even cruder representation of a penis and hairy balls with all spunky bits coming out the end...
