Did a 1.38.24 round Sazuka. Thats a good circuit. Its infuriating when it tells you your lap is void because you went a tad wide at a corner....they need to sort that out.

that's a bit harsh init, i couldn't stay on the road or stop the car doing 360 s so it must be pretty realistic , but i noticed u get penalised for cutting corners   but losing a lap for it is too realistic, the WRC RALLY game is out & a demo its not bad actually but its not as good as DIRT2 tho,  where i wronged in F1 trying to drift round corners   weeeeeeeeeeee. no that's not happening is it.

Surely you can turn that off?

They could have implemented the same sort of system as they have on Forza. For every second you spend outwith the confines of the track, the time gets added on to the end of your lap time. E.g 1:40.3 lap with 2.4 seconds penalty = 1:42.7. It's a much better system.

I wasnt even cutting corners....i went a tad wide, making the track longer and still invalidated lap...am tellin ya..i nearly threw my controller at the telly a couple of times.

Oh aye.....sometimes it invalidates the next lap as well....that really is pants
