Hmm, that does look incredibly nifty actually! Might start using it on some work PCs as it saves installing several of those bits separately!

A free password database program that runs on a memory stick and is accessed via a masterpassword and a Key File

That looks really useful. The one issue I have with all such programs is how to remember the master password. It's meant to be really strong and unguessable. So what do you guys do?

It may be this question is best dealt with in another thread, if so then it can be moved.

I recall someone over at PCFF saying that they used the first letter of every word in a memorable rhyme or song lyrics.

If you want something to create autoplay menus Ashampoo are giving one away.

Typical I bought it earlier this year, it's easy to use & gives a good result.

Kon-Boot.

http://www.piotrbania.com/all/kon-boot/

By passes the need for a windows password.  Really useful as I've forgotten the password on a box at home before and used it at work the other day, on a PC to get into the local admin account where the password wasn't working, and had no network connection to load up my admin user account.

Doesn't alter any files so it's nice and clean.

Trinity Rescue Kit

I use this to reset Windows passwords if Kon-Boot won't work.

Tip with Trinity is don't use it to blank the password, use it to change the password.  As I've never gotten blanking to work, changing the password seems to work nicely.

That's always been my method of choice. Does mean I get up a bunch of song stuck in my head when I log into some sites though :P

Just come across this.  Looks well useful, what with me having Readynas Duo and it using Ext2, although think most NAS do.

Haven't tested it though.
