Degrees of loyalty is what it boils down to.

I'm born and bred in central Scotland...bigotry, sectarianism, barely suppressed socialism, and all. (I'm aware that they don't usually go hand in hand, but we try to make it fit anyway)
In my opinion, 'the auld enemy' are the self proclaimed 'upper' classes and old boy networks (Tories)...not the English as a whole.

I'm not a communist, I just can't be arsed with people who think that they're somehow superior because they live in an affluent area.
So by that account, most of the UK are hard working, hard grafting 'northerners'.
It's the pockets of twats down south that won't travel 20 miles to put a shift in unless they can add a charge on it I can't stand.
