I barely notice the difference between 16:9 and 16:10, I bought one of those P2770HD Samsung Monitor/TVs (hits three individual needs, a TV, a monitor and something to plug the 360 in to!). Not even sure what panel it uses, but the viewing angles are great, and the contrast is grand. In fact, it rather annoyingly sometimes shows up noise in photos I didn't even realise I had on my older monitor. I actually think from the distance anything larger would be too large.

I've been really impressed with Samsungs, I have little doubt Connors monitor is fantastic.
