Is this going to be the turning point over there?

Oleg actually came off quite lightly compared to this poor bugger who was taken to court (and lost) by, if you were suspicious, the bloke that probably ordered the beating.

It's truly scary how lawless it appears to be over there and how the Russian govt has such complete control over the way people think or act. From the locals raking it in(but not too much or we'll knock your dick in the dirt-remember the oligarchs) to the top who seem to do what they damn well please as long as the money flows. The few brave who step up couldn't be blamed for faking a beating(if that were true, which is so hard to tell) to create a public stir, because that is the way the local govt cronies would do it to shut them up. It's a fecking horrible thing to think that any person in the supposed free world should need to think like that. Maybe it will change small things, but I personally have no faith it'll be to any real extent. The Chinese govt has damn near succeeded in controlling 1,323,591,583 people. Fuck me while I go stick my head in the sand. *Under no circumstances take that last statement seriously, ya' sick bastards.* You know who you are.  blink

The Chinese are crippling recovery at the mo.
Remember when I said the USA is at war with China? Well that's on the agenda at the G20

Almost 50% of the Chinese GDP is tied up in foreign stock, keeping the Renminbi(?) cheap and other currencies expensive.

That's Global Capitalism for you.
(and why no-one is pushing China to do anything substantial, but bending over and taking some 'personal' investments over the best interests of the people they represent)
