Does a thread like this already exist here?  Couldn't see one.

Anyway just started playing Dawn of War 2.  Not sure if it's as good as the original.  I do like my base building, though kitting out the hero characters is interesting.  It does seem to be getting better the further I get into it.  Though it did take me a while to start seeing as how you need to have a Games for Windows Live account!?!?!  But it's on Steam!  If that's not annoying enough the link in the game to create a new account doesn't even work.  I'd thought GFWL had failed and they'd ditched it.  Or is it just because this is a slightly older game?

Don't know much about DOW2 mate, but yes it could be because it's an older game.
Currenly playing HL Blue Shift having just finished Opposing Force. Looks much better with the HD enhancement pack.
Also playing:
TR Underworld
Bioshock
Stalker SOH.................completely stuck on that one scratchhead
MW2 single palyer
HL2 Metastasis/Minerva
Far cry 2

Depends on my mood which one I play smile

Aye HL Blue Shift does look better with the HD pack.   I was going to mention the shiny helmet but thought better of it.  Oops!   facepalm

When I get a chance I'm also playing Serious Sam 2 HD on my main PC.  Same game as the non-HD version but done up all fancy.  And its fricking hard too.  Well on hard mode it is, which perhaps I shouldn't be surprised at.  smile  Though a lot of games these days need to be played in hard mode I find just for a normal playthrough.

I've been playing Starcraft 2, WoW and GT5.... not sure I'll buy Cataclysm until I actually get close to 80 though... though at the moment I'm mostly addicted to doing laps of the Top Gear Test Track to do anything else, though I have done a smattering of other events.

I'm tempted to get MGS4, I really loved the first game and it's only £15 in Tesco... not sure what else is good... exclusive wise, on the PS3. Little Big Planet looked alright as well.

Fallout NV - its pretty good, not amazing, but pretty solid fun.

GTA IV too.  With Episodes lined up after I've completed the original.

Ummm, Empire of course and odd bits of Far Cry 2.

Oh, yes mustn't forget Metro 2033 - so glad I persevered this time as it gets better the further in you go.

I play Black Ops and I try to finish Metroid Prime 3 before I start playing Metroid M.  Mass Effect 2 I should finish also but the game lost momentum after I collected all my team members and finished all their side stories... the main story does not grasp me by the heart.

MGS 4 is mighty impressive, if the stealthy thing is your bag... really enjoying it...cant really complain at £15.

To me, and I've only played the first one on the PS before this... it feels... much more Japanese... I can't really level it as a criticism... it's just much more overtly Japanese than the original. Lots of anime 'uh huh' gasp kinda thing with the voice acting, you know, something no real human does ever.. the comedy goon character, that kind of thing...

Does get the adrenaline going, much like the first... the aiming is much improved on the old one too. Looking forward to actually getting on a train to go home to play it =D

Playing Divinity 2 atm, nice action RPG.  Bit dated on the graphic department but from a Belgian Studio so I had to support them.

Torchlight put me in the mood for some Diablo.  Still a good game even after all this time. And now that I've actually completed it and seen the ending the beginning of Diablo 2 makes a lot more sense now.  smile

Installing Diablo 2 as I type.
