Basically I have difficulties understanding the concept of OOP, I know how to call some functions, but still confused.

With PHP obviously some will know that you are mainly working with databases and MySQL(i) which is basically straight forward queries etc

Would anyone know of any good books? I know I can search using google, but all in all I don't want to buy tonnes of books if only one will do

All my books on OOP are out of date now and would be no use at all sorry (Visual J++ and Visual C++ 5).  I stopped programming about 8 years ago and I haven't kept up to date.

I have a good book on COBOL programming  biggrin and one on C+  but neither of them have any OO to go with the P.
