Right I thought I better ask her as I know you lot are brainy ok will I hope so.

He goes, I have set up my own forum very different to here and the pcforums one even though I owned the domain to that one too, anyway the one I have is  PC-Format.co.uk yeah sounds like somewhere you know, I am making it more of a pc building site, I won't go on.

The help I need is email when I get a new member the mail they get shows my email not something like admin@pc-format or whatever, so I made a new addy and got pcformat@mail.com this is what now goes when there is mail to members, but it seams to show in there spam box not as mail.

Sure there is a better way to do this!
If it's help my domains are at 113-reg.

It's probably going into their spam box because the email address doesn't match up with the site it originated from.

We have exactly the same problem here with some emails. They're sent as admin@woostyandkeas.com but go through a mail server called websitewelcome.com, so in some cases (i.e. Glamdring's) it just bounces straight back without being delivered.
Never managed to get to the bottom of it yet. confused

p.s. This also happens occasionally when I use my Gmail account to send emails using my company email address.

Does your server have email accounts?
We can configure ours through CPanel, but our service allows for an unlimited amount of email addresses.

btw..you're a star, you know that?  Cool
Talking about this has just jogged my memory about the issues we've been getting ourselves...it was staring me in the face. facepalm
The webmaster email address on the site was different from the admin address that was set up on the server.  happy

Cheers lol I don't have a server, I using prophp when is free forum but can upgrade as well, I just use webforwarding so that folk only have to put pc-format to get to my forum.

But 123-reg has loads of options for email etc but it's way over my head Sad
