I remember in good old Outlook Express that you could export all your email account settings as an .iaf file and later import that when doing a new install.
Why MS removed that facility is a question asked all over the net. Simply importing the .pst isn't enough.
It's no real problem as I have only two POP3 accounts to be set up, but if you have multiple it could be a headache scratchhead
