From what I skimmed earlier, it seems to be the non sata 6gb ports, the Intel native 3gb ones, but not third party 3gb?

If you are using them I'd swap to the non affected ones!

I'm covered by warranty anyway, so should the problem happen to me in future  I'll get a newer model of motherbaord at the time.

I already had concerns with the P67 chipset as the top tier ASUS mobo's are still trying to iron out probs.  I'm sure it'll all get sorted in the next few weeks/months.

One other thing,  its bizarre that Marvell too have had issues with their SATA III ports.  I mentioned some of it in my use of the C300 SSD.  Everyone was waiting for intel to improve the situation... oh well.
