Well this may sound rather petty by comparison, but I personally refuse to listen to Jennifer Lopez records while she continues to wear animal fur. It may only be one man's boycott, but if I can convince everyone else in the world to think the same way maybe it will make a difference.  |

My mum does kinda the same thing,she wont buy nescafe coffee as the company that makes it charge third world countries for baby milk,i see where Wooster and even my mum is coming from (I must be ill) but a couple of people not buying stuff isnt going to change the way big companies work

Northern Rock almost went to the wall last month with the merest whiff that their flow of cash might dry up.  |

Quite true, when I lived in Cambodia both Cambodia and Vietnam had factories making designer clothes such as Levi's and La Crosse (the crocodile brand) and many others. Some of the shoes are (China, Vietnam), but the clothes aren't..they're made in the EU
You'll probably find that it's the cheap stuff that's made in sweatshops by kids..hence the price.
Quite true the same factories also made the cheap brands. Its actually very interesting to see how they do this. The product is the same, they just put a different label on it, cheaper button and fastenings and charge less for it. |
