Not much.
They're ideal for sites like hotels and schools where they blitz the place with AP's and let the WLC sort out channels and power, but it isn't very cost effective for smaller sites and open spaces like your average supermarket.

A well known fried chicken chain were looking into them to run a couple of external AP's for handhelds and one inside for handhelds/customer internet access.
Personally I thought it was insane since the LWAP's were the same price as the Cisco1242's (which support multiple SSID's and they already use Cisco switches and routers), then they had to add about £4k for a local WLC and (iirc) about £50K for a couple of aggregation controllers at their headquarters.
..oh and the licences were only good for three years on top of that.  confused

Good Salesmanship by someone else. Wink

I haven't heard anything more and may have binned the idea totally and went with something entirely different.
It might even have just been a fishing exercise to build up an idea of the various costs.  smile

They are good, we use them everywhere. For a couple of AP's though not very cost effective. With that said, i deployed a pair in Russia to support three access points, but they are our baseline device and adding new ap's to the network is as simple as plugging it in, no config required.

They don't have mine.  Turning off broadcasting only stops people not in the know.  People in the know would still see your WIFI, then be more interested because you're not broadcasting your SSID, so attack it to get the necessary info to grab enough packets in the to get the HASH.  Then just sit a machine trying to break the HASH for days smile hence complicated passwords are a good idea.
