This one has really got me scratchhead scratchhead scratchhead
Googled and googled this problem but no luck.
It's a brand new PC I built recently, with all new components.
The message in the title is not on every boot (Win7 x86), but the symptoms are Win lockup, bios lockup ie kbd frozen.
I'm beginning to wonder if it's the mobo (Asrock).
No overheating problems detected.

Is it a HDD failure?
Else is it an intel board? I heard they had SATA connector/capacitor failures.

Asrock board, brand new.
Changed sata cable and the memory and the problem went away.
I'd rather not see the machine again Wink

Sorry. I meant Intel chipset. It was a entire Intel CPU board wide problem. :P
But a swap of the cable is the other quick fix/check. biggrin

Memory issue?  PSU issue?  Can you boot from a Linux CD/DVD?
