Watching this on HD theater. Beautiful filming and I suspect dangerous to boot. It's incredible how man has been forced to move on, but nature has come back unhurt (so far). It shows so clearly that man is nothing but a bad temper tantrum on Earths arse. Unless we blow up the planet, nature will walk on our dried bones after we're gone. It's good to know we can only truly affect so much.

I was actually looking in to it, it's not nearly as dangerous as it's made out. You need a geiger counter and a respirator though. Apparently since Stalker got released there has been a bit of a spike in people going round it for a wander. It is of course completely illegal.

I saw an advert for that along with a documentary called Nuclear Eternity about how Finland is dealing with their nuclear waste both look well worth a watch.

Here's the full show on the tuberz. It's a documentary mostly based on natures seemingly unaffected return to Chernobyl and how the former city has been over run with wild life.

It's not illegal man, travel companies are offering guided tours in and around the plant itself.  Wink

There may be some rules (probably just recommendations) that you should only enter the exclusion zone with a tour guide but I doubt that there is anything illegal about heading there as according to Wikitravel about 700 people have resettled in the area anyway.
