For the first time ever I'm considering buying an album from iTunes. Why ? Because I've been so blown away by Cocknbullkid that I reckon she deserves her royalties from my purchase. I want to support her. I've never heard such well crafted, mighty mighty fine pop music in absolute f*cking years. Intelligent blends of 80's electronica, rock riffs, the lot. Coupled with an amazing voice and some quality tunes, she has to make it. she deserves to make it. Taster here..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1FuGSCHECoU#wshttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-qFXiPpUwSQ#wsI totally love her. I want to become a music producer just to work with her and sit in awe within her company. I'm think I'm turning gay!!!!!!

I still prefer having the hard copy cd to hand but on occasion I've bought either from Amazon or the artist themselves. I've never purchased music through iTunes.

You can buy them through Spotify, there's no bullshit there. You buy an MP3 and it's yours to bung on any devices you like. https://www.spotify.com/int/It's a good app for drunken music browsing as well, far better than YouTube imho. *edit* You get one free download when you install it. Prices are £1.15 for a single track, 80p each for ten etc. down to 50p each for 100. Tbh it's not that cheap. What's the pricing like on iTunes?

Last.fm is the one for me, streaming radio that you can 'train' to a point and if you want to buy a track the artists page usually gives you prices from amazon, itunes and 7digital so saves you looking about.

Singles on iTunes are mainly £0.99 although they do have some for £0.59. Full albums vary, they can be anything from £5 upwards, most are around the £7.99 mark. Lady GaGa's Born This Way album is £11.99

Amazon is the way for me. I like the way they handle the man. If you buy a song, or an album, you can store your music on line. You can then upload(20 GB's for an album purchase) and play your music from the cloud on any device you sign in to with the cloud player. No DRM restrictions. The man giving the finger to the man.

Spotify is the business for free music browsing though. I've had a few people asking me for an invite in it's early days. (the free account is the bees knees)

I heard what you said and the same still applies. If I want to know lyrics, pics, info, etc..... I would look at the PDF booklet(=cd sleeves) that comes as an optional (free) download when I buy the album. Online. Boy, some one woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. My previous post was not done in sarcasm. I was just pointing out that the option to look at and/or print out the "cd sleeves" exists. No difference. I for one, like the hell out NIN's album covers. You get a little bit more content in the online version.

I did, soz Therm I didn't know you could download the cd booklets online with your purchase, thought it was only the cd cover you got but as I said I'd normally order the cd from Amazon etc. There you go, I've learned something new
