SSD's also have finite read/write cycle mate.

They will die eventually and if you're accessing them a lot by playing games they will die quicker.



I had (or still got) a hard drive that died within a year, and I did eff all on it, just put a load of photos on it and thats about it scratchhead

I've been using an SSD in a laptop for over a year now, it's used a lot and still hasn't failed.

(It does have some problems when it tries to hibernate though (been meaning to turn that off for months))
