Was looking at the IMDb entry for Game of Thrones (because I thought I'd missed an episode)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0944947/
It was sitting at 9.5/10 for almost 21,000 votes (it's a brilliant series, never seen anything close to it) and reckoned I'd add my two bobs worth.
...It immediately put the series up to a perfect 10/10

I watched episode 1 last night and it is good, you were right to constantly mention it and go on about it to me down the phone Woost.
I wouldn't be so liberal in my scoring as 10 ot of 10 based on one episode as it had several moments I could have done without.
It is highly sexual to the point it's not required / is simply gratuitous on the most. One part that is not but disturbed me is when (whatever her name is) the banished/ousted royals ie: the prince and his sister are shown with the sister being forced into a marriage and practically fucking raped.
Yup, I know that particular part isn't gratuitous as it's building characterisations and manipulating the viewer to have empathy with the characters in order to draw you in and be taken over by them. Very much so we like the princess but hate the prince. But I hate such scenes, they can be expressed in less harrowing ways. It's why I've never watched 'Once Upon a Time in America' all the way through. The back seat rape scene is uncalled for. I also didn't like the wee fella being pushed out the window.
Anyhoo, that may just be me.
Apart from that it does look bloody good.

I'm a big fan of the book's so I've avoided this series like the plague. I really don't want to see Sean 'Refried' Bean's face when I think about Ned Stark. That said, the damage is done!
Also, hey there ya pair of twats! How's it goin?
