I fear RO will be shelved prety quickly
I have 7 minutes played on the first one.  (I have played it more than that prior to moving the Steam folder a few years ago and not re-downloading RO to save space)  |

Sooo...What are the views on the Beta?
I have only managed an hour or so and after the painful setting up (I had the no servers showing issue) all I can gather so far is that it is full of cracking potential!
Will take some getting used to and the hit boxes seem a little iffy up close but all in all it seems to be a little gem.

It's so diff to other FPS.
I'm being slaughtered because I'm to quick to run for cover across an open space.
Team play is going to be essential. Many of the pubs are dicks that just get in the way.

Latest patch has made this game feel much more retail ready and introduced two more maps that really make it more like the old RO.
I managed to get 8 kills last night as a normal rifleman. It really is camp and push, camp and push, camp and push BANG YOU'RE DEAD!
Love it!

I am getting more and more into this now. I must remember it is only a BETA but the SMGs are a little too good over distance for my liking. I want to learn the MG role more as the suppressing fire effects are a really nice touch. Luckily I have fast load times so generally get the pick of the classes at the beginning of each round |

This game is awesome! If you don't have it... get it. None of tis run and shooting all the time.. this is a game where you have to stop and think or be cannon fodder. Made even better if you have mates on teamspeak you can talk tactics with. Roscop.. GET IT NOW!!

That was the most awesome game ever.
Good coordinating between each other and without even being squad leaders or commander we dominated the entire game.
I was the top scoring player with + 100 score and only 1 kill !
Tricky was second top player with +100 score and I think it was only two kills!
Freakin awesome!!!!!
Game works amazingly well when it runs smooth. Bit of a bummer when you get bug hit though.
Still, total immersion gaming is what this excels at.. top notch. Defo a great already.
