Finally the Assault will be the medic ... much more logic then the LMG in BC2

I still miss the Anti Tank class from DC...

SMAW, Stinger, Mines, Pistol, Knife... all you really needed. I think Keas will attest that was a decent kit in my hands Wink Though, slightly overpowered since the SMAW was pretty good at Anti-Infantry, if you could aim (though, you only had five rounds). Engy was great as well... Shotgun, Pistol, Medipack, Spanner and Mines from memory.

I'm still not a fan of relying on mobile ammo points, basically. I like knowing where my reloads are.

I still kinda think BF3 could split out the classes a bit more, but it's slightly pointless because of gun choices now. I mean, Spec Ops in DC had a silenced M4, with C4, silenced pistol... bit of zoom. Sniper was more specialised in zoom, and no C4, just nades. At the moment, and my feeling from BF2 was the assault class shouldn't be a medic too.

But I don't like auto resurrect either... don't like just popping up alive at someone elses whim. I'd prefer to choose.

I'm not moaning about it, but I think the LMG was suited to medic because you could lay down some suppressing fire to give your squad time to heal. 2 birds 1 stone.

Cool, revive will now be a choice of the reciever.  If you want to revive someone he needs to accept that.

Another change seems to be the Squad Leader that is the spawn point ... If he dies and nobody revives you start hiking ... Interesting twist.

I love the concept of supression with the deployed bipod LMG's ... this 'll add nice possibilities for squad tactics ..

There even seems to be a mention of drones like you might know them from Homefront?
