appreciate a bit of help here, gonna get my boys an xbox and telly setup for chrimbo.
Any issues streaming blu ray on the 100Mbit LAN limitation? Should i buy a new 360 slim, or get and older box? If i buy a slim should i get the one without a HDD and put my own in, is there a limit to the size of drive you can bung in?
cheers

Slim is fine nowadays for cheap games as the FW for it is available.
I'd opt for a slim with the integrated hard drive for ease.
Streaming HD content is simple you convert/re-contain MKV's with MKV2VOB same as a PS3.
Seemples.

It does work indeed.
Sometimes though I find it to be a bit Jittery.
Although why anyone would want to convert and stream on the fly when a 5 to 10 min MKV2VOB does the job allowing a straight stream is beyond me.

Use mkvtoolnix mux and then use mkv2vob. Will make an easy tutorial (again) if you want.
